How many times have you tried and failed at something? How did you react to that? We all know that it is not easy to get in shape. It takes time, patience, and discipline. But it’s worth the effort and you’ll feel better about yourself when you start seeing results. Even if you don’t make progress at first, just keep on trying. Even if your first attempt didn’t work out, there are ways to improve your chances of success next time. The key is perseverance. It’s all about the little things in life; never giving up even when faced with challenges. If you put your mind to it, you can achieve anything.
Christy Reeder has been overweight for over 20 years, and those were not her happiest years. She had a lot of false starts, a lot of money down the drain, tried a lot of other programs, lost 20 pounds, but gained more weight. However, as she has become part of the Maximize Life Fitness and Nutrition program, she’s not starving herself anymore. She started eating better foods, cooking a lot for herself, and slowly building habits like working out and daily movement for distressing. She found people who would ensure what she’s doing is not only losing weight but also changing her life.
Christy believes that all she needs to do is slow down and take things one day at a time. Every time she does it, she’s losing a little bit of weight, but at the same time gaining a little bit more confidence. Hence, she’s making it part of her lifestyle.
“It’s just a different kind of happiness because I’m doing things that I know will make me feel better. For however long I have left on this planet, there’s just something about knowing you’re doing everything you can to be the best you can be. And I’d known for a long time that I was capable of doing better.”
